Job Description

MAE is seeking an Advanced Measurement R&D Engineer to support the development of next generation Coriolis flow measurement systems.

This role is suitable for candidates with strong analytical and engineering foundations who

are interested in interdisciplinary development including:

. mechanical systems,

. additive manufacturing,

. signal analysis,

. experimental engineering,

. and high-precision measurement technology.

The role will initially focus on experimental analysis, data processing, sensor

characterization, and R&D support, with opportunities to grow into advanced algorithm and

measurement system development.

Key Responsibilities

Measurement & Sensor Development

. Support development and testing of Coriolis flowmeter technologies

. Assist in sensor characterization and resonance analysis

. Participate in experimental setup, validation, and data collection

. Support studies related to sensor stability, repeatability, and performance

Signal & Data Analysis

. Develop Python-based analysis tools and visualization workflows

. Perform FFT and frequency-domain analysis

. Support signal processing and measurement algorithm development

. Analyze sensor behavior, noise, and dynamic response

Mechanical & Process R&D

. Support additive manufacturing and post-processing studies

. Assist in experimental evaluation of titanium and other engineering materials

. Participate in studies related to surface finishing, electropolishing, and structural

behavior

. Work with R&D team on modal and resonance-related investigations

. Conduct multi-physics simulation using Ansys/COMSOL perform structural

simulation, vibration modal analysis, fluid-structure interaction simulation to optimize sensor

mechanical structure and resonance characteristics

. Develop an automated platform integrating design, simulation, and optimization

workflows

Engineering Collaboration

. Work closely with mechanical, electronics, and product teams

. Support integration between sensor physics and signal behavior

. Participate in technical reviews, documentation, and engineering discussions

Desired Skills & Background

Candidates are not expected to have expertise in all areas.

Preferred background includes:

. Mechanical Engineering

. Mechatronics

. Materials Engineering

. Applied Physics

. Measurement Engineering

. Related engineering disciplines

Preferred technical exposure:

. Python or MATLAB

. Experimental data analysis

. FFT or basic signal processing

. CAD/FEM exposure

. Proficiency in Solidworks

. Ansys / COMSOL multi-physics simulation experience

. Additive manufacturing or materials research

. Research or laboratory experience

Additional qualities:

. Strong analytical mindset

. Curiosity and willingness to learn

. Ability to work across disciplines

. Hands-on engineering attitude

. Interest in high-precision measurement systems
