Job Description

We are an AI-powered education company building a new education service model for the Singapore market.

We are looking for an Admissions & Sales Manager to help activate our first centre and build the first batch of student enrolments.

This is a hands-on 0-to-1 commercial build role. It is not a mature admissions role inside an established institution. It is also not a role for someone who only knows how to convert existing inbound enquiries after demand is already in place.

You will help create early enrolment traction before stable lead flow is fully established. This includes opening parent conversations, generating early demand through practical local channels, conducting consultations, converting families confidently, and helping build the first base of students for the business.

You will need to understand the education model clearly, translate its value into practical parent-facing language, and help turn early market response into real enrolment momentum.

Key Responsibilities

. Build student enrolment traction for the Singapore market from zero, including early-stage lead generation before stable inbound flow is established

. Help activate the first centre through local outreach, launch activity, open houses, parent engagement, and early conversion work

. Drive the full admissions and sales cycle from prospecting and parent consultation to enrolment, retention, and renewals

. Create parent conversations through practical early-stage channels such as referrals, partnerships, community outreach, local networks, open houses, and other relevant demand-generation activity

. Conduct parent consultations confidently and explain the education offering in clear, practical, parent-facing language

. Convert parent interest into confirmed enrolments through strong objection handling and consultative selling

. Identify the right target audience segments and refine outreach, consultation, and conversion approaches based on market response

. Help build the first batch of student enrolments for the business and contribute directly to early commercial momentum

. Work closely with internal stakeholders to align sales messaging with the education model and overall parent value proposition

. Track funnel activity, conversion outcomes, enrolment trends, and renewal indicators, and use this feedback to improve commercial execution

. Contribute practical market feedback to support early-stage business decisions and future scale-up

. Improve admissions workflows, consultation quality, and commercial effectiveness as the business grows

Requirements

. At least 5 years of relevant experience in education admissions, enrolment, consultative sales, or education-facing business development

. Proven track record in parent-facing consultation, objection handling, and closing

. Proven ability to create traction, open new conversations, or generate demand in a build-phase, low-structure, or early-stage environment

. Comfortable creating momentum from zero rather than relying mainly on established brand pull, central marketing support, or ready inbound lead flow

. Good understanding of the Singapore education, tuition, enrichment, K12, or private education market

. Strong commercial judgment and ability to translate a complex education offering into clear parent-facing value

. Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where lead sources, messaging, and playbooks are still being developed

. Able to work full-time on-site in Singapore

. Strong spoken and written Chinese for day-to-day internal communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders

. Strong spoken English for clear and professional communication with parents in Singapore

. Hands-on, resilient, resourceful, and results-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

. Experience in tuition, enrichment, private education, or education technology

. Experience selling higher-value education programmes or services

. Experience building enrolment pipelines, opening new markets, or driving first-traction growth

. Experience activating referral channels, local partnerships, or parent engagement opportunities

. Experience supporting or managing a small admissions or sales team

. Familiarity with retention, renewals, and parent relationship management

. Experience improving commercial processes in a growing business

Important Fit Note

This role is best suited to candidates who are comfortable building early traction in a growing business.

It is less suitable for candidates whose experience has been mainly within highly structured environments where brand pull, marketing support, and ready lead flow were already in place.

It is also less suitable for candidates who have mainly worked in warm-lead admissions roles where enquiries already existed before the admissions process began.
