We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Administrator to manage the operations of our Society. The role is suited for individuals with a background in working within a firm providing Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying services, who can contribute both administrative and technical expertise to support the Society's growth and activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and operations of the Society.
- Provide secretariat and logistical support to the Board and Committees.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g. Registry of Societies, auditors, banks, and relevant authorities).
- Assist the Council in:
- Organising and managing Society events (annual dinners, golf tournaments, book launches, etc.)
- Updating and managing marketing content across the website and social media platforms
- Respond to member enquiries and facilitate information sharing.
- Manage membership matters, including database updates, processing applications and renewals, invoicing, and record-keeping.
- Provide administrative support to Council and Working Committees, including preparing meeting arrangements, minutes, and follow-ups.
- Ensure project reports and records are properly documented and accessible.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders on secretariat matters.
- Take on any other tasks assigned by the Council.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Project Management,Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to work independently with initiative, and support teamwork.
