Job Summary
Support M&E projects through effective office administration, project coordination, and quantity surveying functions to drive cost control and smooth project execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage general administrative duties and coordinate office operations to support project teams
- Organize, prepare, and maintain accurate project documentation and records for easy retrieval and compliance
- Assist in submitting required documents to clients, consultants, and authorities to meet project deadlines
- Maintain worker records, attendance, and timesheets to ensure accurate manpower tracking
- Coordinate manpower and logistics with site teams to facilitate smooth project workflows
- Handle procurement documentation, including purchase orders and invoices, to support timely purchasing
- Maintain organized filing systems for both softcopy and hardcopy documents to ensure data integrity
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions to support project financial planning
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to quantify project materials and costs
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and assist in contract negotiations to secure favorable terms
- Prepare progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts to track project financial status
- Monitor and control project costs and expenditures to ensure budget adherence
- Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve project issues and maintain communication
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in administrative and/or quantity surveying roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Familiarity with the construction/project environment in Singapore
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (for Quantity Surveying role)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
Other Information
- 5 / 5.5 days work week
- Office-based with occasional site coordination
- Overtime payable as per MOM guidelines (if applicable)
