Job Summary
Provide administrative and operational support in planning, coordinating, and delivering engaging activities and programmes that promote residents physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.
Working closely with the Nursing team, volunteers, and community partners, to support resident programmes and events.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate daily resident activities and programmes.
Ensure activities are conducted safely and effectively, in accordance with residents needs, interests, and abilities.
Develop and schedule social, recreational, cognitive, therapeutic, and festive programmes to promote residents overall well-being.
Adapt activities to accommodate residents with varying physical, cognitive, and sensory abilities.
Maintain attendance records, activity calendars, programme reports, and related documentation.
Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments to encourage resident participation and engagement.
Monitor, evaluate, and gather feedback on programme effectiveness, and recommend improvements to enhance resident participation and satisfaction.
Manage the inventory and procurement of activity supplies, equipment, and materials.
Provide administrative support to the Resident Care Office, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Job Requirements
NITEC, Higher NITEC, Certificate, or Diploma in Community Care, Healthcare Administration, Event Management, or a related discipline.
Preferably 2-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare, eldercare, community care, active ageing centres, or the social service sector.
Passionate about enhancing the quality of life of seniors.
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary
