Roles & Responsibilities

Scope of Responsibilities (but not limited to):

People and Culture:

  • Engage with our colleagues to gain an understanding our people and culture and brainstorm ideas to enhance our Employee Value Proposition.
  • Encourage a culture of open communication to enhance employee's job satisfaction and productivity.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to create a positive and inclusive work culture, etc.
  • Plan and coordinate social events to engage employees and promote diversity and inclusion.

Compliance and Procedure:

  • Manage exit interviews and offboarding procedures with care and adherence to legal and company policies.
  • Document processes and maintaining records
  • Work with stakeholders on performance review plans and support performance management of poor performing employees, including the development of a Performance Improvement Plan

Onboarding/Orientation:

  • Ensure all documentations, assets and access are in place by start date for seamless onboarding experience
  • Facilitate engaging orientations and onboarding sessions to welcome new employees and help them integrate smoothly

Talent Acquisition:

  • Work closely with different stakeholders to understand our hiring needs and manage end-to-end recruitment.

Operations:

  • Assist Project Directors/Project Managers with human resources planning and staff allocation in accordance with project budgets.
  • Determine the company's capacity to interview and shortlist candidates to meet the staffing requirement of projects, assign personnel to projects and assign/hire staff to projects based on their skills and experience.
  • Attend to customers needs and queries.
  • Collaborate on resource management with HR departments on Employees relations and payroll.
  • Provide ongoing resource management and related support (eg. monitoring staff utilization, workload, and overtime hours)
  • Mitigate resource concerns by reallocating resources, adjusting goals or assigning additional staff.
  • Plan and administer training and development programs
  • Handle various HR related tasks, including employee inquiries, reports, and ISO audits
  • Collaborate with HR, keep abreast and familiar with Employment Act, Tripartite Standards and Guideline and trends in resource management in the IT industry
  • Any adhoc duties assigned from time to time.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

  • Diploma in Information Technology and or Human Resource Management, or any relevant field of study
  • Well-versed with Singapore's labour laws and fair employment guidelines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin (in order to communicate with Chinese speaking staff and employees feedback and concerns)
  • Tenacity to work under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task with minimum supervision.
  • Able to explore new recruitment channels/methods
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting and placing candidates in a variety of roles and industries
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
