Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

To communicate with befrienders and beneficiaries of the ElderAid. Liaise with the befrienders, beneficiaries and community stakeholders to establish and maintain an effective befriending programme.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

ElderAid is a community support programme to help seniors stay socially connected, safe, and engaged in the community as they age.

JOB PURPOSE

The Admin & Ops Coordinator role is responsible for providing efficient administrative functions and operational support to the ElderAid programme under the Community Engagement Division. This role primarily focuses on administrative tasks such as payment processing, finance report and liaising with vendors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration Support

. Assist with putting up purchase requisitions and orders when necessary.

. Ensure that ElderAid procurement processes are accurately recorded and regularly updated, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial procedures.

. Respond to general program inquiries, providing prompt and helpful assistance.

. Process volunteer hours & claims in a timely manner.

Operations Support

. Coordinate with vendors, partners and team related to event and ground ops.

. Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders on event bookings & confirmation.

. Support activities and outings (e.g. roadshows), if required.

Others

. Perform other admin/ops duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

. Relevant Diploma from a recognised institution or

. Relevant Nitec Certificate from the Institute of Technical Education.

. Prior administrative skills and/or customer service experience will be an advantage.

Additional Skills and Knowledge

. Good command of both spoken and written English.

. Other spoken native languages (e.g. dialects) will be an advantage.

. Computer literate.

. Familiarity with Tenderboard or similar platform processes.

. Good interpersonal and organisational skills.

. Meticulous with an eye for details and multi-task effectively.

. High initiative.
