Main responsibilities include but not limited to order processing and order fulfilment for instrument, spareparts and consumables. This involves order entry/recording of PO from customers, issuance of LSS PO to overseas suppliers, goods-receiving, arrangement of local/export deliveries and invoicing to customer.
To liaise with freight forwarders/delivery service providers on freight quotations and custom clearance to import goods from overseas.
To support sales and service teams on freight cost estimations and other administrative functions when needed.
To assist in inventory management, warehousing and stock taking.
To work as team with the rest of admin team members on office general admin and backup each other.
Goods receiving: To help receive and check the quantity and conditions of incoming goods.
Goods delivery: To help pick and pack/repack small items for delivery.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in logistic, supply chain management, business admin, Chemistry, Microbiology. Food technology, Biotech / Life science, Material Science, Business Admin, Accounting and equivalent.
Minimal two to three years of relevant working experience such as procurement, logistic admin, logistic and supply chain management and general office admin.
Experience and knowledge with lab equipment or scientific instrument business advantageous.
Must be team player, hard working and customer oriented.
Dependable, organised, detailed and good with numbers.
