Company Overview

THISS Technologies is a Singapore-based SME developing innovative satellite communications products and core technologies, building and supporting satellite networks worldwide. Located in Ubi Techpark.

Job Summary

Support business operations by managing administrative tasks across accounts, logistics, procurement, HR, travel, and office management to ensure smooth daily workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with business administrative tasks for accounts, logistics, procurement, human resource management, travel, and office operations to support efficient company functions
  • Prepare and process commercial documents including quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and delivery orders accurately for business transactions
  • Enter data daily into accounting systems to maintain up-to-date financial records
  • Source vendors and quotations, prepare purchase orders, and maintain the approved vendor list to support procurement activities
  • Manage shipping and deliveries by inspecting incoming and outgoing goods, arranging shipments, and maintaining delivery records to ensure timely logistics
  • Administer human resource tasks such as leave processing, timesheet collation for cost allocation, and expense claims to support payroll and budgeting
  • Control and record fixed assets and inventory movements to maintain accurate asset tracking
  • Process incoming customer orders and issue purchase orders to suppliers to facilitate order fulfillment
  • Arrange travel bookings including flights and accommodation, and manage related expense filing to support business travel needs
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally to maintain effective communication
  • Manage office supplies procurement and coordinate employee or corporate event arrangements to support office operations
  • Organize digital and physical filing meticulously in compliance with QMS processes, especially for commercial control documents
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support team and company needs

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum ITE or Diploma in Business Administration or related fields
  • Professional-level English language skills, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively in business contexts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced Excel skills, to perform data management and reporting
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accuracy in documentation and processes
  • Ability to learn quickly and take initiative to adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlines

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Higher-level qualification in a related field to enhance business knowledge
  • Mandarin language skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate communication with customers and international partners
  • Experience using Xero accounting software to support financial processes
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 compliant environment to ensure quality management standards
  • Familiarity with international shipping and logistics, including import/export processes, to support global operations
