Job Summary
The Production Admin Assistant provides administrative and coordination support to the production department. This role assists in production scheduling, documentation, data entry, inventory updates, and communication between departments to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Documentation & DataEntry
- Prepare and maintain production documents such as job orders, work orders, checklists, production reports, and daily output logs.
- Enter production data into MRP or internal systems accurately.
- Ensure all production-related records are properly filed and updated.
2. Communication & Support
- Communicate between Production Department and Customer Service Department.
- Communicate production updates, delays, or issues to relevant teams.
- Provide administrative support during audits, meetings, and safety reviews.
3. General Administrative Tasks
- Assist with filing, printing, scheduling meetings, and other admin tasks.
- Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned by the superior/department manager.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Nitec, or Diploma in Business/Admin/Manufacturing or related fields.
- 1 to 2 years experience in production or administrative roles is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiar with MRP systems (SAGE) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data entry.
Other Requirements
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willing to support overtime on weekdays, weekends and PH when required ONLY.
Working Condition
Working Hour
- 7:45am to 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Company transport provided.
