Job Description

Responsiblities :

Financial Record-Keeping:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records: Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented.
  • Updating accounting software and spreadsheets: Accurately inputting financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
  • Filing and retrieving financial documents: Organizing and maintaining financial documents, such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Processing invoices and payments: Verifying and processing invoices, as well as preparing and issuing payments.
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable: Maintaining accurate records of outstanding payments and receipts.
  • Reconciling accounts: Identifying and resolving discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.

General Ledger and Journal Entries:

  • Preparing and posting journal entries: Accurately recording financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Maintaining the general ledger: Ensuring the general ledger is up-to-date and accurately reflects the company's financial position.
  • Preparing and reconciling general ledger accounts: Identifying and resolving discrepancies in general ledger accounts.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Preparing financial reports: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
  • Analyzing financial data: Providing insights and analysis of financial data to support business decisions.
  • Identifying trends and discrepancies: Notifying management of any unusual trends or discrepancies in financial data.
  • Other Responsibilities:
  • Providing administrative support: Assisting with administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry.
  • Maintaining confidentiality: Ensuring that all financial information is kept confidential.

    Requirements:
  • Accounting knowledge and experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, communication skills and time management skills
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
  • Prior experience in admin and accounts will be an advantage
