Responsiblities :
Financial Record-Keeping:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records: Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and documented.
- Updating accounting software and spreadsheets: Accurately inputting financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.
- Filing and retrieving financial documents: Organizing and maintaining financial documents, such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Processing invoices and payments: Verifying and processing invoices, as well as preparing and issuing payments.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable: Maintaining accurate records of outstanding payments and receipts.
- Reconciling accounts: Identifying and resolving discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.
General Ledger and Journal Entries:
- Preparing and posting journal entries: Accurately recording financial transactions in the general ledger.
- Maintaining the general ledger: Ensuring the general ledger is up-to-date and accurately reflects the company's financial position.
- Preparing and reconciling general ledger accounts: Identifying and resolving discrepancies in general ledger accounts.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Preparing financial reports: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
- Analyzing financial data: Providing insights and analysis of financial data to support business decisions.
- Identifying trends and discrepancies: Notifying management of any unusual trends or discrepancies in financial data.
- Other Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support: Assisting with administrative tasks, such as filing and data entry.
- Maintaining confidentiality: Ensuring that all financial information is kept confidential.
Requirements:
- Accounting knowledge and experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational, communication skills and time management skills
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Prior experience in admin and accounts will be an advantage
