AD, Investment Counsellor, Private Bank

Our client is a leading Asian financial institution with a growing private banking presence in Singapore. Backed by a strong regional network and robust capital base, the bank offers a full suite of wealth management solutions tailored to high-net-worth clients across Asia. The Singapore branch plays a strategic role in the groups offshore private banking expansion.

As an Investment Counsellor in the Private Banking division, you will be responsible for offering personalized investment advice and solutions to high-net-worth clients. You will leverage your expertise in financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management to help clients achieve their financial goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the Asian financial landscape and an ability to navigate complex investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key advisor for clients investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with their risk profiles and financial goals.
• provide asset allocation strategies and portfolio recommendations to Relationship Managers and clients.
• Deliver regular investment updates through presentations, seminars, and portfolio performance reviews.
• Educate and support RMs in promoting and understanding investment solutions and products.
• Work closely with RMs to tailor client portfolios
• Increase product penetration and AUM through collaboration with internal teams.
• Identify and develop new client opportunities within internal networks across Asia Pacific.

Skills And Experience:

• Solid investment knowledge and experience in managing private client portfolios.
• Client-focused, credible, and confident in delivering advisory solutions.
• Proven experience in the Asia Pacific wealth management landscape.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proactive, commercially minded, and adaptable to client needs.
• Ability to build strong internal and external working relationships.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese as the role is required to communicate with North Asian clients.
