About the Organisation and Role

Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) is Singapore's national association for company directors. Formed in 1998, its mission is to uplift the directorship profession and champion good governance. Its membership comprises board directors, company leaders, and professionals with an interest in corporate governance. A Governing Council guides the direction and work of the organisation, and SID Committees comprise industry professionals, academics and corporate governance experts.

The Accreditation & Professional Development team, which you will be a part of, oversees the development of accreditation frameworks and tools, as well as new programmes and courses to support the strengthening of SID's positioning in the market as a thought leader for all things directorship and/or governance, and a standard bearer for good governance.

As part of your role, you will report to the Accreditation Manager, and work with the Vice President, Accreditation & Professional Development. Your role will also include working with SID's Accreditation & Professional Development Committee, the SID Executive Team, ecosystem partners, and any other relevant committees or working groups as assigned by the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

You will support the Vice President, Accreditation & Professional Development primarily in the following areas:

1. Accreditation & Credentialing Operations

Function as one of the operational leads for accreditation related activities including point-of-contact queries, service interventions, project management and quality assurance:

a.Creation of examination windows and generation of candidate outcomes.

b.Review of profiles for Senior Accredited Directors.

c.Maintenance of SID Question Bank.

d.Issuance of digital credentials for accredited board directors.

e.Implementation of SID Registry.

f. Setup the Accreditation examination via SID's examination system

g.Act as a point-of-contact for participants and attend to accreditation program related enquiries through mailbox and phone calls

h. Support the strengthening of any internal functional processes, e.g., in preparation for ISO Certification or other quality assurance standards

2. Accreditation & Credentialing Product Development

  • Develop accreditation and credentialing products, and operationalise a business model to optimise the product value.
  • Support the development for Whole-of-Board Accreditation including the necessary product development activities such market discovery, customer sentiment surveys, prototyping and Go-To-Market (GTM) plans and post launch data gathering for production iterations and refinements.

3. Secretariat Duties

  • Provide secretariat duties to SID Committees and/or Chapters including supporting the agenda and activities of the Committee and/or Chapter.
  • Provide pre-, during- and post- event operations and administrative support for all the Chapter programs throughout the year (e.g. Zoom link set up, conduct dry runs, attendance check, manage poll questions, troubleshoot)
  • Take charge of course registration, course administration, course materials, training room (virtual/F2F) preparation, attendance records, evaluation forms, and training certificates
  • Create post event write up for marketing team and post event report for finance

4. Any adhoc duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum diploma / preferably degree in psychology, business or marketing.
  • Some familiarity with statistical concepts.
  • Good business acumen or a willingness to develop this.
  • Past experience with project management and/or event organisation.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
