Job Description:
- Review and verify GST treatment and billing information on invoices
- Perform cost allocation and ensure proper financial recording
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and receivable records
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure all permits are properly prepared, accurate, and compliant with MES licensing requirements
- Provide administrative support to the manager as required
- Mentor and guide junior team members to support their development
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or senior capacity
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Familiar with accounting software (experience in Globe 3 is an advantage)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and support team growth
