Prepare/review daily compliance with MAS regulatory ratios, e.g. MCB, AMR, MLA etc
Prepare/review periodical MAS regulatory returns (e.g. MAS649, MAS610) and annual surveys, including handling regulatory queries or request for additional information
Maintain and enhance the regulatory reporting database, including regulatory data mapping and recurring/ad hoc adjustments
Perform accounting control functions, including payment verification, daily reconciliation, accounting path setting, etc.
conduct impact analysis on regulatory or financial change, participate in system enhancement/automation projects, raise system change request and perform UAT if required
Perform/review periodical/ad hoc financial reports for management review and financial control purpose, and assist in external and internal audit process
Assist in GST, WHT, Corporate tax and other tax-related matters
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails, update SOPs, and uphold strong internal control and governance standards within the Accounts team
Other ad-hoc assignment as required.
Job Requirement
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking or other related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking regulatory reporting, or banking audit experience in Big 4 accounting firms
Experience in MAS regulatory reporting is preferred
Experience in system enhancement, UAT testing, finance transformation initiatives, or regulatory reporting project is a plus
Able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility and attention to details
Able to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines
A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
