This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) professional to join a dynamic and collaborative finance team within a well-established, consumer-centric organization in theretail industry.
The Role
As an AR Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the full spectrum of accounts receivable processes for the regional business. You will ensure the timely collection of receivables, accurate reconciliations, and the strengthening of internal controls in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day AR operations, including billing, collections, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely posting of receipts and accurate maintenance of customer accounts
- Partner closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Monitor credit limits and assess customer creditworthiness
- Prepare aging reports, cash forecasts, and provide insights into AR performance metrics
- Support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and reporting
- Assist in continuous process improvement and system enhancement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Who You Are
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 36 years of relevant AR experience, preferably in theretail, FMCG, or consumer goodssector
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities
- A team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid and multicultural work environment
