JOB OVERVIEW

To be responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations, including but not limited to accounts payable & receivable, general ledger, online banking processing for ABS and its subsidiaries. The job requires candidate to coordinate on the annual external audit, submission of annual tax returns and quarterly GST returns. To contribute towards upholding the good values, maintain good principles of proper internal control to achieve clean and proper accounting recording and reporting standards for ABS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare for the full set of accounts including but not limited to

a. Monthly bank reconciliation

b. Balance sheet

c. Ageing Report

d. Cash and Bank Forecasting

e. General Ledger entries

2. Responsible for month end closing.

3. Responsible in annual budgeting.

4. Responsible in preparing financial and annual report.

5. Support the preparation of Financial Reports and Forecasting for ABS Council

6. Liaise with auditors and relevant parties on matters pertaining to invoice, finance and accounting

7. Responsible for fixed assets management

8. Maintain proper accounting records and documentation

9. Perform compliance work for ABS and engage with by laws regulations projects

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Finance or Accountancy; must possess ACCA Level 3 certification.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in full set of accounting

• Experience in accountancy/finance/auditing work with a Group with various subsidiaries a plus.

Knowledge and Skills

• Good knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards.

• Knowledge in ERP Sage Fixed Assets System

• Good communication and analytical skills.

• Ability to manage and work with Business accounting systems.

• Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel.
