The role
You will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, supporting monthly closing, and maintaining smooth financial operations. You will also work closely with internal departments and external parties to upkeep efficiency and financial integrity.
The daily
Financial recordkeeping & accounting
- Maintain accurate and timely general ledger entries
- Perform bank reconciliation
Accounts payable (AP)
- Verify supplier invoices, prepare payment run and ensure timely vendor payments
- Reconcile supplier statement and resolve discrepancies
Accounts receivables (AR)
- Setup / maintain customer master
- Process customer payment promptly
- Maintain AR aging reports and monitor overdue accounts
- Verify and ensure complete LC documentation before submit for bank negotiation
Financial reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet
- Prepare monthly cash flow statement
Tax reporting
- Prepare & file monthly GST returns
- Prepare customer list for self-billing arrangement and MES renewal
The essentials
- Possess at least a diploma in accounting and/or Finance
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot table, Vlookup) and SAP preferred.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail when processing financial data
