Accounts Manager

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring timely and accurate monthly financial closing, reporting and consolidation of management reporting
• Provide accounting & tax service
• Responsible for a portfolio of clients and special assignments
• Lead a team of accounting staff providing quality services to clients
• Review accounts prepared by the team members
• Develop, grow and motivate the team members
• Responsible for the operational effectiveness of the team
• Work with the management to manage the clientele portfolio and grow the business
• Liaise with clients, external auditors, bankers, local government agencies and business associates
• Any other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance/ACCA/CA equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in related field
• Knowledge of MYOB is an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently, effectively and meet tight reporting datelines
• Team player with good communication, strong initiative and supervisory skills
