Job Summary
Manage and lead comprehensive financial operations to drive effective financial performance and compliance. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize cash flow, ensure regulatory adherence, and support strategic business objectives.
Work location - Pasir Panjang
Working days/hours - 5 days,8.30am - 6.15pm
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day financial operations to ensure timely processing of payments and receipts, maintaining operational efficiency
- Develop, review, and implement financial and accounting policies to enhance operational effectiveness and compliance
- Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and mitigate financial risks
- Consolidate financial data and prepare accurate, timely financial and accounting reports for management decision-making
- Analyze and forecast the company's financial performance to support strategic planning and business growth
- Plan and coordinate annual audits to ensure compliance and financial integrity
- Collaborate with corporate secretary, bankers, tax agents, and other third parties to facilitate smooth business operations
- Manage business cash flows to optimize working capital and support financial stability
- Execute ad-hoc financial and accounting projects and duties as assigned to address emerging business needs
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills and group consolidation expertise to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the retail industry, preferably within an F&B environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills to foster effective collaboration and influence
