Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to facilitate strategic business planning and decision-making.
- Present financial reports, business insights, and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities on audit, tax, GST, corporate income tax, and compliance matters.
- Strengthen internal controls and drive process improvements through digitalisation and automation initiatives.
- Supervise, guide, and develop finance team members to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and financial initiatives.
- Perform additional finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, Corporate Income Tax, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, reporting, and presentations.
