Job Summary
The Accounts Executive supports clients in finalizing accounts for financial reporting and assists with GST returns, financial statements, and finance-related projects, applying finance and interpersonal skills independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
- Finalize monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting for clients
- Prepare GST returns in compliance with the Goods and Services Tax Act requirements
- Compile basic financial statements and simple consolidated financial statements for client review
- Participate in ad-hoc finance-related projects and assist with systems testing to support process improvements
- Apply proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer applications to manage financial data efficiently
- Communicate financial information clearly to clients and provide education to enhance their understanding
- Work independently to identify and resolve accounting issues, demonstrating problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial deliverables
