Job Description

Job Summary

The Accounts Executive is responsible for supporting the organisation's treasury, banking, and cash management activities, including bank guarantees, funding, fixed deposits, intercompany loans, hedging, bank facilities, treasury reporting, compliance, and accounts payable functions. The role supports effective liquidity management, regulatory adherence, and timely and accurate financial reporting. The incumbent will work closely with internal and external stakeholders and report directly to the Head of Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day treasury and banking operations, including monitoring and reconciling daily bank balances and CMS positions
  • Maintain cashbook records and assist in preparing cashflow forecasts and funding updates
  • Execute internal bank transfers and support site funding requirements
  • Assist in the administration of Bank Guarantees, SBLCs, and Letters of Credit, including maintaining registers, tracking expiries, reconciliations, and reporting of bank charges
  • Support bank account administration, including account openings and closures, changes in signatories, mandates, and authorised users
  • Coordinate banking documentation matters such as KYC updates, due diligence requests, audit confirmations, and bank correspondence
  • Prepare monthly reports including but not limited to mark-to-market valuations, closing reports, Bank Guarantee reports, entity-level and group banking and treasury reports
  • Support banking system access controls, security tokens, and payment processing, including assisting with accounts payable (AP) invoice processing and payments.
  • Assist with treasury reporting and governance matters, including forecasts, rate updates, audit queries, bank confirmations, and year‑end disclosures.
  • Any other duties to be assigned from time to time

Pre-requisites:

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in treasury and banking operations
  • Familiarity with corporate banking platforms, CMS, or online bank portals, including basic understanding of access controls and payment processing.
  • Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to handle banking‑related documentation accurately and timely
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with numbers, reports, and reconciliations
