Accounts Executive (TEMP- Immediate to Jan 2027, with potential extension to Jun 2027)
Key Responsibilities
Perform month-end closing activities for assigned entities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, schedules and follow-up of outstanding items.
Prepare monthly controller reports and supporting financial schedules, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely submission.
Handle treasury-related activities for the Group, including foreign exchange transactions, loan drawdowns, loan rollovers and related banking documentation.
Prepare and process payments, including reviewing supporting documents and ensuring payments are properly authorised and processed on time.
Monitor bank transactions and maintain accurate accounting and treasury records.
Support year-end closing and statutory audit, including preparation of schedules and supporting document.
Liaise with banks, auditors, internal stakeholders and other relevant parties on accounting and treasury matters as required.
Participate in ad hoc finance assignments, process improvements and projects as required.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of relevant hands-on accounting experience, with good practical knowledge of month-end closing and financial reporting.
Practical experience in treasury operations, banking transactions, foreign exchange and payment processing would be advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with accounting schedules and financial data.
Mature, dependable and hands-on, with the ability to independently manage assigned responsibilities and follow matters through to completion.
Meticulous and organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to meet reporting and payment deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels.
A collaborative team player who is comfortable working in a lean finance team and supporting different areas of the finance function when required.
