Accounts Executive (Shipping)

Responsibilities
. Oversee and manage balance sheet and profit & loss accounts
. Ensure daily updating of MIS reports
. Handle cash flow management and perform bank reconciliations regularly
. Prepare and issue invoices and credit notes promptly and accurately
. Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on collections, and maintain the billing system
. Gain a full understanding and execute the complete accounting cycle end-to-end (from shipper invoicing/payments to customer billing/payments through to audit)
. Liaise with insurance providers on matters related to marine and cargo coverage
. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with overseas teams, bankers, and traders

Requirements
. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Maritime, International Business, or International Trade
. Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a similar role
. Experience or knowledge in maritime accounting will be an added advantage
. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines effectively
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
. Team player with the ability to work independently and stay well-organized
. Detail-focused, proactive, and flexible in approach
