Accounts Executive (Ship Management Company/Vessel Accounts)

• Position : Accounts Executive (Ship Management Company/Vessel Accounts)

• Location : Great World

• Working hours : Monday - Thursday 9am to 6.30pm. Friday 9am to 6.00pm.

• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4500 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Leave (Up to 21)

• Duration : Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Check and journalize monthly crew transactions and ship statements.

• Review charterer and agents voyage disbursement accounts detail line items and account codes, and resolve discrepancies.

• Issue and send invoices and credit notes to customers.

• Reconcile inter-company balances and manage monthly inter-company billing, journals, and settlements.

• Assist in monthly and year end closing.

• Collaborate closely with internal departments and crew manning agents.

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience within the shipping industry.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central accounting software is preferred.
