Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare full sets of accounts and monthly management accounts for overseas subsidiaries, including related schedules, in a timely manner (primarily financial accounting).
- Prepare monthly VAT reports and other financial reports as required.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, reviewing documentation in accordance with SOPs (includes internal audit responsibilities).
- Communicate effectively with various departments, managers, and external parties.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), corporate tax, and VAT regulations.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
- Self-starter with the ability to plan, organize, and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently.
- Resourceful, hands-on, meticulous, and analytical, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Positive, can-do attitude, motivated and passionate about work.
- Open to job rotation and learning new skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with MYOB and Globe 3 ERP accounting systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint.
- Prior experience in internal or external audits is preferred.
