Accounts Executive

On behalf of our client, a global shipping company with operations across Asia-Pacific, we are looking for a structured and collaborative Accounts Executive to strengthen their accounting setup in Singapore.

In this operational, high-impact role, you will ensure timely invoice processing, accurate reimbursements, clean reconciliations and transparent monthly reporting - all essential for enabling informed decisions and keeping financial workflows dependable across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Upload supplier invoices into the approval workflow and post approved invoices in the accounting system
• Process and post cash and credit card reimbursements in line with company policy
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on variances
• Support timely booking, analysis and control of monthly expenditure
• Contribute ideas to improve data flows, accuracy and process efficiency
• Collaborate with colleagues across the region and head office to ensure smooth and transparent financial operations

REQUIREMENTS

• You bring an attentive approach to your work - the kind that helps you spot when something looks slightly off and steer the process back on track.
• You hold a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience within accounting. Beyond this, our client is looking for someone who:
• Brings practical accounts payable experience where cost is recognised and posted across multiple dimensions
• Is genuinely curious about smarter ways of working and comfortable exploring digital tools and process automations that make accounting workflows cleaner and more efficient
• Takes ownership from start to finish and adapts to evolving priorities with a team-first mindset
• Thinks in structured steps with a steady, solution-oriented approach - able to dive into detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
