Job Summary
Manage comprehensive accounting functions including accounts payable, fixed asset schedules, reconciliations, and month-end processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts to ensure accurate financial records and reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounts payable operations and analyze expenses to optimize cash flow
- Maintain fixed asset schedules including additions, disposals, and depreciation for accurate asset tracking
- Process payments and manage GST compliance to meet regulatory requirements
- Perform monthly reconciliations against vendors statements to ensure accuracy of accounts
- Lead month-end closing activities, updating accruals and prepayment schedules promptly for timely financial statements
- Monitor and reconcile inter-company transactions to maintain balanced accounts
- Prepare audit schedules to support external and internal audit processes
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and participate in projects to support business decisions
- Utilize Xero accounting software to maintain accounting records efficiently
- Provide administrative support to finance operations as needed
