Role Overview
Pave Group is seeking an Accounts Executive to take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations across our Singapore and Malaysia entities, with responsibilities extending to Indonesia. Reporting to the Regional Director, the successful candidate will manage the full accounts payable and receivable cycle, run multi-country payroll, and prepare the entities year-end accounts for review by external auditors and tax agents.
This isa fully remote role suited to a self-directed individual who is comfortable working independently and keeping multiple jurisdictions accurate and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Receivable (Singapore & Malaysia)
. Manage the full accounts payable cycle: process supplier invoices, prepare payment runs, and reconcile supplier statements.
. Manage the full accounts receivable cycle: issue client invoices, monitor outstanding receivables, and follow up on collections.
. Maintain accurate ledgers and perform regular bank reconciliations for both entities.
Payroll Processing (Singapore & Malaysia)
. Process monthly payroll for Singapore and Malaysia employees, including statutory contributions (CPF for Singapore EPF,SOCSO and EIS for Malaysia).
. Prepare and issue payslips, and ensure statutory payments are submitted accurately and on time.
. Maintain payroll records and respond to employee payroll queries.
Contractor Payments
. Process monthly payments to contract staff regionally.
. Maintain payment records and ensure correct supporting documentation for each contractor.
Month-End & Year-End Closing
. Perform month-end close, including journal entries, accruals and ledger reconciliations.
. Prepare year-end accounts for the Singapore and Malaysia entities and liaise with external auditors and tax agents through to completion of statutory filings.
. Support the preparation of management reports as required.
Compliance & Reporting
. Ensure both entities remain compliant with local statutory and tax requirements.
. Track filing deadlines and coordinate submissions with external advisers.
. Keep finance processes and records documented and audit-ready.
Requirements
. Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field (or part-qualified ACCA / equivalent).
. Minimum [3] years experience in full-set accounts, ideally across more than one entity or jurisdiction.
. Working knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia statutory and payroll requirements.
. Experience preparing year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors and tax agents.
. Proficiency in accounting software Xero.
. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
. Good written and spoken English.
Advantageous
. Exposure to a regional or multi-country finance environment.
. Experience in the recruitment, HR services or professional services sector.
. Familiarity with processing payments to overseas contractors.
