Responsibilities
- Manage full set of accounts for multiple MCST developments to ensure accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly financial statements including income & expenditure, balance sheet, and general ledger for timely reporting
- Monitor and reconcile management fund and sinking fund accounts to maintain financial integrity
- Prepare and track budget versus actual reports to support financial planning and control
- Process and verify invoices, payments, and journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Perform bank reconciliations to confirm accuracy of cash records and transactions
- Manage accounts receivable by tracking maintenance fees and generating arrears reports to optimize collections
- Liaise with auditors to facilitate annual audit processes and ensure compliance
- Assist in preparing AGM financial reports and supporting schedules for stakeholder review
- Ensure compliance with BMSMA financial reporting requirements to meet regulatory standards
- Support preparation of GST submissions when applicable to maintain tax compliance
- Collaborate with Condo Managers and Councils on financial matters to provide clear financial insights
- Monitor cash flow and fund utilisation for MCST projects to support financial sustainability
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and records for audit readiness and transparency
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by Management to inform decision-making
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in MCST accounting
- Familiarity with MCST accounting structure including management fund and sinking fund
- Knowledge of BMSMA requirements is an advantage
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple portfolios effectively
