Job Description:
- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Ensure vendor invoices are processed and payments are made accurately within the required timelines.
- Support the Senior Accounts Executive in routine accounting tasks, financial reporting, and administrative duties.
- Assist with monthly and annual financial closing processes.
- Provide support for statutory audits, tax compliance matters, and tax-related reviews.
- Participate in year-end audit preparations, statutory financial statement preparation, and financial performance analysis.
- Ensure financial records are closed accurately and promptly in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
- Oversee the preparation and issuance of invoices and ensure billing activities are completed efficiently.
- Prepare and file GST returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle accounting responsibilities related to operational activities, including expense monitoring and account reconciliations.
- Liaise with operations and procurement departments to verify costs and validate supplier invoices.
- Maintain and update cost reports and summaries for vessels, projects, and contractual engagements.
