Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team in Dhoby Ghaut, Central Region. As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting the overall accounting operations of the company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions to ensure timely and accurate accounting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounts for reliable reporting
- Perform month-end and financial year-end closing activities, including preparing monthly balance sheets, Profit & Loss statements, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reports
- Manage monthly payroll processing and support GST filing to comply with statutory requirements
- Liaise effectively with bankers and auditors to facilitate financial audits and banking operations
- Execute ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned to support business needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or equivalent qualification
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in MYOB, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word to efficiently manage accounting software and documentation
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including full set accounting, GST, and CPF compliance
- Excellent attention to detail to maintain accurate financial records and minimize errors
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated initiative and a positive working attitude to contribute proactively to team goals
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
