Assist in handling day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
Support month-end closing activities and preparation of financial schedules and reports.
Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in maintaining proper accounting records and documentation.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis as assigned.
Assist in monitoring project costs and liaise with Project Managers, Procurement, Quantity Surveyors, and other stakeholders when required.
Support audit, tax, GST, and statutory filing processes by preparing schedules and information.
Liaise with auditors, vendors, customers, and external parties.
Provide support to the finance team on ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
1-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Experience with accounting software will be an advantage.
Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
Willingness to learn, proactive, and able to work independently with guidance.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
