Job Summary
The Accounts Executive supports daily accounting operations, managing full sets of accounts with accuracy and confidentiality, and coordinates month-end reporting and external audits.
Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing to ensure accurate financial records
- Prepare financial statements to support management reporting and compliance
- Liaise with auditors to facilitate audit processes and manage tax filing to meet regulatory deadlines
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and financial management to maintain up-to-date and accurate accounts
- Work independently to handle confidential financial information with discretion and integrity
- Use Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiently to enhance accounting accuracy and efficiency
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling full sets of accounts
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data processing
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple accounting tasks effectively
