Our client, a fast-growing, dynamic player in the asset-backed supply and trading sector with a significant presence across Asia. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join their lean and high-performing regional finance team.
About The Job
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a partial set of accounts with a strong focus on the end-to-end management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including master data maintenance, the processing of supplier invoices and staff claims, and the preparation of tax invoices. Your core duties will involve executing monthly closing processes and fixed asset management while ensuring seamless banking transactions and payment postings. Beyond daily operations, you will serve as a key point of coordination for external auditors and tax agents, managing GST and Withholding Tax compliance and supporting overall tax filings in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
Skills And Experience Required
Diploma or degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation is a plus
Relevant years of experience handling full monthly closing cycles and financial reporting
Demonstrate a practical, hands-on work ethic with the ability to navigate structured corporate workflows
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with SAP B1
Experience within a commodity trading, energy, or multinational enterprise is advantageous.
Strong analytical skills and extreme attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with stakeholders
