Job Description:
Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and month-end closing activities.
Oversee credit control processes and collection activities to ensure timely recovery of outstanding receivables.
Maintain and manage full sets of accounts for the company and its subsidiaries.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, management reports, and variance analyses to support business decision-making.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper recording and reconciliation of financial transactions.
Prepare tax computations and support tax filing requirements for the company and its subsidiaries.
Maintain General Ledger accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
Support GST reporting and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, tax agents, and external parties on accounting and financial matters.
Resolve accounting and financial issues related to subsidiary companies and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding matters.
Support annual audits and statutory reporting requirements.
Perform ad-hoc accounting, finance, and administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related professional qualifications. Candidates with relevant experience but without the stated qualifications will also be considered.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
Strong knowledge of full-set accounting, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with Singapore tax regulations, including GST reporting and corporate tax compliance.
Knowledge of IFRS and J-SOX compliance requirements will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different functions.
Adaptable, meticulous, and capable of performing well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
