Accounts Executive (Full Set/Reporting)(Shipping MNC)

Our client is a major Shipping cum Bunkering MNC. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as Accounts Executive (Full Set)(Shipping).
Responsibilities :

• Handle a full set of accounts
• Assist in handling Monthly, Quarterly and Year end closing and reporting
• Preparation of financial reporting schedules including schedule for tax, audit and statutory reporting
• Support the Accounts team by collating, logging and managing documents on a day to day basis ensuring that details are logged in on a timely and accurate basis
• Liaising and working with external parties such as bankers, auditors and government agencies (IRAS, MPA)
• Coordinating and liaising closely with relevant internal parties to ensure efficiency and accuracy on the reporting
• Assisting in budget preparation process

Requirements:

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in accounting field is required
• Prior experience in commodity trading or shipping (Maritime/Marine) industry will be a major asset
• Strong analytical capability and proficient with MS Excel
