Job Summary
Support financial operations by preparing sales reports, reconciling transactions, managing billings, and assisting in account closing and audits within the F&B industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to monitor retail, restaurant, and e-shop performance
- Reconcile daily sales and collections from multiple sources to ensure accurate financial records
- Record and reconcile promotional and membership transactions to maintain transaction integrity
- Resolve disputes and settle issues related to financial transactions promptly
- Track promotion details to support accurate accounting and reporting
- Issue billings to external parties and related stakeholders to facilitate timely payments
- Send statements of accounts (SOAs) to key customers and follow up on outstanding payments
- Enter data for expenses, fixed assets, and receipts to maintain up-to-date financial records
- Create and post journal entries, including accruals, to support accurate account closing
- Prepare sales reports for external stakeholders to provide transparent financial insights
- Compile key expense and project-related schedules to support financial analysis
- Ensure prompt closing of accounts to meet reporting deadlines
- Assist in audit processes by providing necessary documentation and support
- Participate in company-wide activities such as HQ stock-take to support operational accuracy
- Complete other relevant tasks to ensure timely and accurate closing of assigned accounts
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of finance experience related to the food and beverage industry
- Diploma qualification or higher
- Proficient in intermediate Excel functions for data analysis and reporting
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
