We're looking for a meticulous Accounts Executive to join our Singapore office as we continue growing across Southeast Asia. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid financial acumen, and the ability to manage accounting tasks while coordinating effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepare and issue invoices, including progress claims, and maintain proper documentation for all billings.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date receivable records.
- Verify and process supplier invoices and subcontractor claims.
- Prepare payment vouchers, ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Reconcile suppliers statements and handle payment-related queries.
- Manage staff expenses and petty cash reimbursements.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of accounting records.
- Track and monitor project costing by recording all project-related expenses, ensuring accurate cost control and timely identification of variances.
- Liaise with site and project teams on billing matters and cost verification.
- Handle GST reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management team or immediate superior.
Requirements:
- Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of GST accounting and compliance
