Job Summary
We seek a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to independently manage full sets of accounts for multiple entities, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and effective issue resolution in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
- Complete monthly closing and reporting processes within established deadlines
- Identify discrepancies during bookkeeping and resolve issues independently to maintain clean accounts
- Maintain detailed supporting schedules and documentation for audit readiness
- Utilize Xero and Zoho Books to record and process financial and intercompany transactions efficiently
- Support GST reporting and basic compliance activities to meet regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely information exchange
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and consistently meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Continuously learn and improve accounting processes and skills to enhance performance
- Assist the Company Directors with ad-hoc/administrative tasks
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience handling full sets of accounts independently
- Strong reconciliation skills with attention to detail
- Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience using Xero or Zoho Books accounting software
- Exposure to accounting for multiple entities or intercompany transactions
