Accounts Executive (AP)
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
-Supports in the development and production of management reporting related to among others but not limited to:
-P&L, B/S and Cashflow, particularly on AP:
Ownership of execution of Accounts Payables
-Registration of adhoc non-PO invoices
-Reconciling of PO invoices via the Group's middleman software
- Reconciling of invoices with third party vendors
- Ensuring accuracy of tax impacts on vendor invoices
- Preparation of weekly payment runs via system and bank for PO/non-PO invoices
- Monthly AP reconciliation to suppliers SOA
Periodic activities:
- Support the monthly financial statement close process particularly on AP/food costs
- Filing of invoices (when applicable)
- Ensure all AP documentations are readily available during year end audit
- Continuously drives improvements allowing the (Finance) organization to keep up with the fast changing and dynamic environment
- Demonstrates ability to operate in a fast-changing environment including the possibility of an implementation of a new ERP system
- Any adhoc tasks, when required
. This role reports directly to the Finance Manager daily
. Education / Skills
. Diploma in Business, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent
. Min 2 years AP experience
. Strong Technical Accounting Knowledge (e.g. IFRS, area tax regulations, tax)
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Team player, outspoken with strong work ethic and commitment
. Advanced Microsoft technical skills particularly Excel
. Ability and willingness to adapt to changes for improvements, particularly on systems and internal controls
. Driven individual who can communicate effectively and openly, and look to develop himself/herself across functions within Finance
