Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of day-to-day financial transactions, including verification and classification of accounting entries from stakeholders. Maintain proper documentation by matching AP Trade Purchases and Returns Check Slips with Invoices or Credit Notes. Record Operating Expenses, CAPEX, and Rental Invoices accurately. Prepare Bi-Weekly Payments and verify invoices on their due dates. Handle the preparation of slips for Corporate Card expenses, checking receipts against statements and recording GST. Prepare slips for monthly sales reporting for duties and taxes. Conduct AP Ageing Reporting, Vendor Reconciliation, and analysis of rental expenses by type. Manage the setup of new vendors and define payment terms. Conduct audits and confirmations, and extract invoice costs as required, along with other ad-hoc duties or projects assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the accounts payable function. Meticulous and analytical with strong business acumen and finance knowledge. Detail-oriented and capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
