About the Roe:
We are looking for an Accounts Executive with hands-on experience in Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), month-end closing and reconciliations. This role is suitable for candidates with around3-5 years of accounting experience who are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Scope:
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions including Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL)and journal entries
- Support month-end financial closing and preparation of management reports
- Process AP invoicesand payments accurately and on time
- Perform AP ledger and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly cashflow and audit schedules
- Prepare and submit monthly GST returns
- Generate and analyse inventory reports and perform reconciliation between SAP and inventory records
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Update monthly foreign exchange rates
- Create and maintain AP vendor records in SAP
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with tax computation and related tax schedules
- Support intercompany transfer pricing documentation
- Assist in preparation of monthly management/board reporting
- Support external audit requirements and other finance-related matters
- Handle other ad-hoc accounting and administrative duties as assigned
Requirement:
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
- Around 3-7 years of relevant accounting experience
- Good hands-on experience in AP and GL
- Experience with month-end closing, journal entries and reconciliations
- Experience or knowledge of SAP ERP is highly preferred
