Our client is a listed real estate organisation.
The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management reports including budget and forecast submission for Group reporting and performance of variance analysis
- Handle the full spectrum of Accounts Payable and Receivable Functions, inclusive of timely capture of invoices, planning and generation of payments and reimbursement, keying in of collections, and issuance of invoices
- Preparation of month-end journal entries and assist in month-end accounts closing,
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliation and bank reconciliations
- Review and enhance existing processes to improve efficiency
Key Requirements:
- Possess at least a degree in Accounting, ACCA, CA or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Possess advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills
- A self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong problem solving skills and organizational skills to challenge the status quo
- Preferably able to start work within short notice
