Position Summary

The Accounts Executive supports the Finance team in managing Alpha X Technology's day-to-day accounting and reporting activities across Singapore and Malaysia. This role assists in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, the Accounts Executive will gain hands-on experience in full-set accounting, audit preparation, and financial operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense entries.

  • Maintain accurate general ledger records and assist in timely month-end closing.

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and support intercompany transaction reconciliations.

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documentation for management review.

  • Provide administrative and documentation support during external audit cycles.

  • Assist in preparing GST submissions for the Singapore entity and SST filings for the Malaysia entity.

  • Support the coordination with third-party service providers such as the company secretary, auditors, and other external consultants as required.

  • Ensure filing and record-keeping practices comply with company policies and statutory regulations.

  • Participate in finance-related projects and provide support on ad hoc administrative or reporting tasks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial information flow.

  • Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company as and when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).

  • At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

  • Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable in a fast-paced start-up environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred / Additional

  • Comfortable working in a start-up or fast-growing environment, where processes are still evolving and hands-on involvement is required.

  • Exposure to regional accounting operations (Singapore/Malaysia) preferred but not required.

  • Interest in manufacturing automation industry, process development and improvement, and digital finance tools.

  • Strong teamwork, integrity, and communication skills.
