Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Executive / Accountant to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, supporting management with cash flow analysis, and coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors. The successful candidate will also oversee payroll and HR administration and liaise closely with our office in China.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and is comfortable managing both finance and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.

Monitor and analyze company cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.

Prepare management reports and financial analysis to support business decisions.

Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and regulatory authorities.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

China Operations Support

Liaise with colleagues, suppliers, and service providers in China.

Coordinate financial information and reporting between Singapore and China offices.

Support management in reviewing financial matters relating to China operations.

Candidates with knowledge of China accounting, tax regulations, or cross-border finance will have an advantage.

HR & Payroll Administration

Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.

Manage CPF contributions, IR8A submissions, and other statutory requirements.

Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

Support recruitment, onboarding, leave administration, and employee benefits.

Assist in implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Experience handling a full set of accounts independently.

Familiarity with Singapore accounting standards and statutory compliance requirements.

Experience working with auditors and tax agents.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and cash flow trends.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Language Requirement

Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) as the role requires regular communication with our China office, business partners, and stakeholders.
