Accounts Clerk

About Us
We are a small group of three SME companies with growing operations across various sectors. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to support our finance functions and work closely with our Finance Accountant. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, responsible, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Finance Accountant in day-to-day accounting operations
- Perform data entry for invoices, receipts, payments, and journal postings
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing
- Maintain proper filing, documentation, and recordkeeping
- Track petty cash, business expenses, and claim submissions
- Support month-end closing activities (e.g., reconciliations, schedules)
- Handle basic GST-related tasks such as compiling input/output GST, verifying supporting documents, and preparing data for GST filing
- Assist in gathering documents and preparing information for tax-related matters (corporate tax, IRAS queries, etc.)
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders when needed
- Perform basic administrative tasks and any ad hoc duties assigned by the Finance Accountant or management
Requirements
- GCE O-Level / N-Level / ITE / Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Some familiarity with GST and tax concepts (training will be provided)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience is an advantage but not required)
- Meticulous, organised, and responsible
- Ability to follow instructions and work well under guidance
- Good communication and teamwork skills
