Key Responsibilities:
Accounting
. Handle full set of accounts for a portfolio of clients independently.
. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
. Perform bank reconciliations, GL review, AP/AR functions, and month-end closing activities.
. Prepare consolidation accounts for group entities, including elimination entries and group adjustments.
. Review junior staff's work and provide guidance where necessary.
. Other adhoc project assigned
Taxation
. Prepare and review corporate income tax computations (Form C/C-S), including capital allowance schedules and tax adjustments.
. Prepare GST returns and ensure compliance with IRAS requirements.
. Assist clients with basic tax planning and responding to IRAS queries.
Client Management & Compliance
. Liaise with clients and auditors when required.
. Ensure timely completion of reporting deadlines.
. Support process improvements and maintain high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Job Requirements:
. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, ACCA/CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm.
. Strong technical skills in accounting standards and Singapore tax regulations.
. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
. Experienced in consolidation accounting.
. Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
. Chartered Accountant will be added advantage.
. Candidates with prior audit experience are highly preferred.
