We are looking for a highly motivated accounts assistant to join our finance team to perform AP, AR, book keeping and other related tasks. Our office is in Loyang Crescent and a company bus is provided from and to AMK with stops in Hougang and Pasir Ris. Our working hours are from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by performing data entry of daily transactions into accounting systems.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded and discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Manage daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and issuing customer invoices.
- Process employees payroll, claims and reimbursements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of journals, schedules and performing checks.
- Support the preparation and submission of GST, tax and other financial filing requirements.
- Handle relevant ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma or higher qualifications (accounting, finance, or related fields preferred). Fresh graduates welcome.
- Experience working in similar book-keeping or accounting roles is a plus
- Skills:
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude with a desire to learn and work with others is essential
